This power plant, with a capacity of 648 MW, began operations in 2010, and its gas section is currently in operation. In the future, we intend to complete the combined-cycle configuration. For this purpose, two steam units with an approximate capacity of 125 megawatts will be constructed, and the capacity of the existing gas turbines will also be upgraded. This renovation project will increase the nominal capacity of the power plant to over 898 megawatts. These measures demonstrate our efforts to increase sustainable electricity production in line with the UN’s sustainable development goals and reduce environmental pollution, which can create opportunities in this field.
